Another top class Beragh 5!

The Beragh 5 Organising Committee wish to thank and congratulate all athletes who ran, participated at the Beragh 5 Mile and 5K Road Race 2017. We also wish to congratulate and acknowledge the commitment and achievement made by all the Couch to 5K runners who successfully followed the 9 week programme under the coaching direction of Conor and Toni Moore, achieving their own personal bests and goals, well done!!!

We also wish to thank most sincerely all Club members who helped with registration, marshalling the route, to the PSNI, to Omagh Harriers for the use of their signs, to Connor and Oliver McCullagh for their professional management of the timing system. To PD Coaches providing us with a shuttle service to the pavilion and Joe for adding to the atmosphere of the day to make the event yet another success in 2017.

On Saturday the U14 boys
travel to Tattyreagh for 1pm and the
U14 girls next round of the Feile is on at 1:30pm, Venue tbc.

The senior men and reserves travel to Drumragh on Sunday 23rd. The reserves play at 2:15pm and seniors play at 3:45pm.

On Tuesday 25th, The Reserves travel to Fintona for 7:15pm and the Minor girls travel to Loughmccrory on for 6:45pm.

All support is appreciated. Thanks to all those who provide transport to our games!

Underage training and gaelic start

Underage Training for U8’s, U10’s and U12’s continues on Saturday from 10am until 11:15am and again on Wednesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Gaelic Start is on Friday upstairs in the pavilion from 7-8pm.

Four Star Lotto

The numbers drawn in our Four Star Lotto draw were 6, 25, 26, and 29. Barry Conroy and Damien Corrigan matched 3 numbers and share £50. Next week’s draw will take place at on Sunday at 10pm in Farley’s. Jackpot – £1,150.

Dromore 54: A Spirit of Paul Mc Girr Event

The Spirit of Paul Mc Girr would like to invite the members of Beragh Red Knights to participate in Dromore54, a charity cycling event marking the 20th anniversary of the death of Paul Mc Girr on the 17 June 2017.

Dromore54 involves teams of cyclists leaving Dromore via 10 different routes to visit all 54 Football and Hurling clubs in Tyrone. I would like to invite the club to send a 5-10 person team to represent you in the cycle choosing one or more routes as they prefer.

At each club it would be gratefully appreciated if the cyclist group could be met by a senior club official for a photograph carrying something which identifies the club. The event is a fund-raiser for the work of the Spirit of Paul Mc Girr charity in Africa, if the club was able to make a donation to the cycle, during that photograph,  it would be gratefully accepted.
