Breacach Handball Club was formed in the 1950’s with their first premises being located at Breacach School. In the 1970s they reformed in Cloughfin due to the previous premises being sold. Breacachs’ last move was in the 1980s where they moved to Páirc Naomh Mhuire, Beragh where they continue to be a thriving Handball Club to date. They have approximately 80-90 members which increases continually.

AWARDS
When it comes to awards our club has an outstanding history. We have been nominated for Ulster Gaa Writers awards and Ulster Herald Sports Personality of the Year Awards to name a few. We have recieved Young Sports Team of the Year, Club of the Year and other awards like this.
The players themselves have secured numerous Club, County, Province and All Ireland Awards, National Titles, US titles and many World Titles.
Some of our players have broken records and retained hard earned titles for more than one year.
Our club continually compete in competitions in every code and return with medals.
