A word of thanks to all involved in yet another fantastic Beragh 5 which would not have been possible without the work put in by the brilliant organising committee and the community.

Senior and Reserves – The Beragh men led by 5 points at half time on Sunday’s opening league game, however Clogher responded with a goal early in the second half and built momentum to go home with two points winning 2-11 to 0-13. The Reserves lost out 3-12 to 2-8.

The second round of league fixtures are at home this Sunday against Castlederg. The senior game throws in at 2:15pm, with the reserves getting under way at 3:45pm.


The Minor lads are busy this week as they travel to Kildress for the first round of their Championship on Wednesday at 6:45pm. They then host Owen Roes on Friday, throw-in 7pm. All support welcome!


The Minor girls play Urney at home on Tuesday (12th) at home for 6:45pm. They then travel to Stewartstown the following Tuesday (19th) for 6:45pm.


On Thursday both our U14 teams play. The girls host Cappagh at 6:45pm while the boys travel to Clogher to play Naomh Geal Padraig at 7pm.


The senior ladies begin their junior league campaign on Sunday in Coalisland. Throw-in is 6:30pm.

Underage Training – This Friday concludes the indoor Gaelic Start sessions from 7:15pm. This age group (U6s) will now continue training outdoors with underage groups, U8, U10 and U12s on Saturday mornings from 11am to 12:15pm and Wednesdays 6:30 – 7:30pm. New boys and girls are always welcome.


Social and Cultural – Child Drama Class will continue on Monday from 6-7pm for P2 – P4’s and 7-8pm for P5 – P7’s. All places filled.


Adult drama classes are on Monday nights from 8-9pm. lasting initially for 5 weeks. These classes will be for secondary school age or over.


Tin whistle continues on Tuesday at 6:30. Guitar lessons for beginners (P6 & up) continues on Sunday at the Pavilion: 1.30pm-2.30pm.


The Women’s Group Yoga/Pilates class and light chair exercise classes are now finished for the summer. Every effort will be made to recommence in September.


Lotto – The numbers drawn in this week’s Four Star Lotto draw were 10, 17, 22 and 27. Marie Donaghy and Ciara Mc Donagh both matched 3 numbers and share £50. Next draw on Sunday 10pm in Farley’s. Jackpot – £1,450. Lotto helpers are Pete and Dympna Owens.


On cleaning rota from this Saturday (16th April) are Damian Donaghy, Sean Owens, Grainne Grimes, Clare Owens & Marie Donaghy


Seamus Boyle is on Pavilion duty for the week beginning April 16th.
