The club dinner dance took place on Saturday night with an excellent turnout in The Pavillion. On the night, the nostalgia of past success met with the achievements of our current players wearing the jersey. Thanks to all who turned out in support and to those who put the evening together. Due to a clash with schools fixtures, the minor’s league campaign isn’t scheduled to get underway until they visit Fintona on Sunday March 8. Sunday’s postponed game with Tattyreagh has been refixed for Sunday March 22, with the refixed round two games taking place on Saturday March 14.

The minor girls are at home to Trillick this Saturday at 4pm.

Beragh have been drawn against Killyman in the first round of the 2015 Tyrone Junior Championship. Should we progress, our opponents will be either Drumquin or Clan na Gael in the Quarter Finals. Dates and venues TBC.

A meeting of the development sub-committee takes place on Thursday at 9pm in The Pavillion. All sub-committee members are asked to attend.

Beragh Ladies Club takes place in The Pavillion on Monday nights (8.30pm-9.30pm). This night is open to any local women who want to take part in an evening of  fun and socialising. A programme of yoga classes is currently scheduled to run until the summer.

Beginners tin whistle for children continues on Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm at The Pavillion

The countdown is on for the big reveal at ‘A Knight of Strictly’ on March 28. The special launch night in The Pavillion will feature a bar and entertainment for the official unveiling of the couples for the big night in The Mellon Country Inn on June 13.

The Beragh 5 Mile Road Race and 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place at noon on Saturday April 4 2015 at St Mary’s Park. Pre-registration fee is £10, or else £12 on the day (£7 for 5K). To pre-register, email details to
