St.Ciarans College Ballygawley aim for All-Ireland Glory

Hard Luck to the St.Ciaran’s Ladies U20 team and club members, Darcy Byrne, Amy O’Neill, Sarah-Louise Franey and Caitlin McCrory on narrowly losing out in the All-Ireland Final V St.John the Baptist, Limerick in Mullingar last week. The club is very proud of the 4 Beragh girls on their hard work and representing their school at such a high level.

This week the attention turns to the St.Ciarans U20 Boys team who, after winning the Ulster GAA McLarnon Cup Colleges title on St. Patrick’s Day, have now secured their place in the All Ireland final.
In an absorbing All Ireland semi final which involed Callum Corrigan in Mullingar last week, St. Ciaran’s eventually got the better of St. Mary’s CBS, Carlow, by a single point after extra-time, winning a thriller by 1-16 to 3-9.

The big final takes place this Saturday (1st April) in Croke Park. The club support Callum Corrigan and the whole team, we wish them best of luck on the big day.
