The postponed Club AGM has been fixed for Sunday 25th January at 2pm in the pavilion. It should be noted that the outgoing Club Treasurer has indicated that he will not be seeking re-election at this meeting. As his position remained unopposed in the nominations from members for the original AGM date in November last, therefore it has now become necessary to seek further nominations from the membership for this position. All nominations for the position of Club Treasurer should be made to Club Secretary Barry Conroy by Wednesday next (14th).Congratulations to Gabhain McCrystall on his recent historic US Nationals 19 & Under Singles title in Tucson, Arizona. Gabhain then followed up with Pól Clarke to win the US Junior Nationals 19 & Under Doubles title for the second year running. Well done Gabhain and Pól on a brilliant end to 2014!

The next meeting of the Club’s Executive Committee will be held tonight (Thursday) at 8:30pm and all members are asked to be in attendance. All National Draw ticket returns should also be brought to this meeting.

Beragh Red Knights Ladies’ Club will be holding ladies’ Yoga Classes for 4 weeks beginning on Monday next (12th) from 8:30pm to 9:30pm at the pavilion. These classes are the first part of the weekly Ladies’ Club activities. This will be an informal opportunity for ladies to come along and enjoy a break and all are welcome to attend.

Beginners’ Tin Whistle classes will start in the pavilion on Tuesday next (13th) from 7pm to 8pm. The classes will be for children in class P2 and above. The classes will be weekly and at the first class numbers will be ascertained and a rota of parental supervision will be established. Parents are expected to attend the first class and hopefully they will be willing to help out occasionally thereafter. Anyone with a query regarding the classes should contact Michael McCaughey on 07775576895.

Anyone interested in representing the Club in Scór Sinsear should contact Noel Franey asap. The first rounds will be held on Friday 23rd & Sunday 25th January.
