Beragh Red Knights and Breacach Handball Club held their annual Dinner Dance on Saturday evening with an excellent turnout in The Pavillion.  Club Chairman Seamus Boyle welcomed everyone & expressed his satisfaction at the fine support, as the function holds a special place in the social calendar of the Club.

A minute silence was held as a mark of respect to Ted McKenna who passed away earlier in the day. Guest enjoyed an excellent meal provided by Farley’s Bar before the formalities got under way. Barry Grimes was the speaker on the night and intoduced the distinguished guests, Rev Father Mc Ginley and Tyrone star, Peter Harte who made the presentations.

Congratulations to all the player of the year recipients who are as follows;

Senior men – Niall Owens,
Senior Ladies – Roisin McSorley,
Reserve player of the year – Paddy Meenagh,
Minor boys– Oisin Donnelly
Minor Ladies – Caitlin McCrory and Darcy Byrne.

Hugh McNammee also received a presentation to mark his time as Chairman over the past 5 years fromcurrent chairman, Seamus Boyle.
