The Club wishes to remind members of the evening information sessions to be held in the Community Room at the pavilion and which are open to everyone in our local community who wishes to hear about and discuss current information on the risks and dangers associated with alcohol and other drugs. Session 1 is on Wednesday evening from 7–9pm and is exclusively for parents /carers of pre-teen and teenage children, but may also be useful for parents of younger children and all adults concerned with children’s development. Session 2 on Wednesday next (7th) again from 7-9pm and is exclusively for young people attending secondary school (11-18 years old). The Club actively encourages all members of the community to attend these sessions and light refreshments will be served on both evenings. |

Tickets for Sunday’s Cork v Tyrone All-Ireland Semi-Final will be distributed tomorrow evening (Friday) at the pavilion at the following times: 7pm - Executive Committee members, sub-committee members, coaches, sponsors and lotto helpers; 7:30pm – adult players; 8pm – other full Club members.
The Senior team hosts Tattyreagh tonight (Thursday) in the Joe McGarrity League Cup. Throw-in at St. Mary’s Park is at 7:15pm.
There is a meeting of the Executive Committee tonight (Thursday) after the League Cup match.
The U-12 boys’ team completed its successful league campaign on Monday last. They have one more outing which is the Loughmacrory Tournament to be held in Loughmacrory on Saturday next (29th). All players are now asked to commit to the U-13 team and matches begin on 3rd September. All players born in 1996 should now also attend training on Saturday morning at 11am in preparation for this competition.
The U-10 boys’ team travels to Owen Roes for a blitz on Saturday morning. Transport leaves St. Mary’s Park at 9:15am. Training for the other age groups continues as normal at 11 am.
The U-16 ladies team have a home league match against Kildress on Saturday morning. Throw-in is at 11am.
The U-16 boys’ team continues its league campaign when it travels to Newtownstewart on Monday next (24th), followed closely by a home game against Augher on Wednesday next (26th).
The numbers drawn in last weekend’s Four Star Lotto were 1, 6, 29 & 30. The three number winner was Francie Donnelly. The next draw takes place on Monday night next (24th) at 10pm in Farley’s Bar. Lotto helpers are Barry Conroy and Gerard Treacy. |
