Well done to all who participated in the ‘Junior Stars in your Eyes’ Competition which was held on Friday last. It was a great night’s entertainment and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Thanks to all who helped organise this event. The Senior and Reserve teams continue their ACL campaigns when they make the short journey to Dunmoyle to play Errigal Ciaran on Sunday. At the time of going to print, throw-in times are 2.15 and 3.45pm although these may change until later times. Check locally to confirm. The U-14 hurling team travel to play Setanta tomorrow (Friday) with a 6.45pm throw-in. On Saturday morning, the U-10 boys’ team travels to Drumragh for its first blitz of the year. Transport leaves St. Mary’s Park at 9.45am. Training for U-8s, 10s and 12s continues on Saturday morning at 11am. The minors are away to Clonoe in the Championship on Tuesday next (29th) with a 7.30pm throw-in. All support for the team at this important fixture would be greatly appreciated. The U-14s continue their league campaign at home to Loughmacrory on Wednesday next (30th) with a 7.30pm throw-in. The Club has received its latest cheque from Gaelic Telecom. The Club would like to thank all members who have joined the scheme and supported the Club. Gaelic Telecom will shortly be making contact with the Club membership to promote this scheme. Any club member who wishes not to be contacted by Gaelic Telecom is asked to contact Barry Conroy by Sunday so that this can be arranged. The numbers drawn in last weekend’s Four Star Lotto draw were 1, 5, 8 & 11. The three number winners were Thomas Devlin, John McDonagh, Barry McNamee, Stephen Farley and Rose Grimes. Next weekend’s jackpot now rises to £3,200 with the draw taking place at The Whistler’s Inn on Sunday night at 10pm. Lotto helpers are Niall Farley and Stephen Farley.
