As Chairman of Bearach An Chraobh Rua it is my pleasure to welcome you to our Club’s official website. A lot of work has gone into the compilation of this site and I would ask you to, at your leisure, browse and enjoy it and make any comments on any aspect of the Club through the guest book page.

I hope that all its visitors around the globe enjoy what they see and that the up-to-date news and reports will keep you informed of our activities throughout the year.

It was a great honour for me to be installed as Chairman of Beragh Red Knights GAC on the 25 November 2007. It is very humbling to follow in the footsteps of past great Chairmen that have served this proud and historic club so well over the last 100 years.

My initial aim is to map out a realistic plan of action with the Club’s various sub committees and to work diligently with all members of these committees to ensure we meet our aims. The Club Executive Committee have a lot of work ahead in the next 12 months so as to ensure that the Club continues to build a tradition of achievement both on and off the field of play.

Everyone can play a role in the future of our Club whether it be by playing for or supporting our teams, assisting in fund raising events, attending or participating in social and cultural events or classes or even by using this medium as a way of expressing your views about the Club.

I look forward to working with and serving all Club members in the next 12 months and in assisting in any way possible all our players, supporters and members to realise their true potential.
