Well done to our U8 Boys and management who the Mickey McGurk Memorial Tournament in Carrickmore.

The boys remained undefeated after the League stages of the Tournament after victories over Greencastle, Omagh and Loughmacrory. In the quarter final the Red Knights were much stronger than Pomeroy and this delivered a semi final place against a fancied Omagh team but the men of the futures stepped up once more to win by 5 points to 1. After that great win the boys then faced the hosts Carrickmore. After a tense first half when the home side played with the breeze the scoreboard read 3 points each. Playing with a strong breeze the Red Knights played intelligent and skillfull football to win the Mickey McGurk Memorial Tournament for the first time in the Club’s history on a final score of BRK 0-7 Carrickmore 0-5.
